As the summer days are getting longer..hem lines are getting
shorter! Here's another easy way to add a little flare to an old shirt!
We
started out by taking an over sized shirt ( Any size shirt or tank top
will do as long as its a soft cotton and a little longer)
Then we cut about half inch slits up to the graphic of the shirt to make a fringe crop. You can make shorter or longer pieces depending how comfortable you are with showing off your stomach, however we suggest cutting a little shorter to get the best result.
We took the top of two of the pieces and knotted them together.
We continued to do this by taking a piece from each fringe and knotting it to the one next to it for three more rows, front and back.
Once completed you will have a basket weave fringe crop top perfect to pair with a pair of cut off denim shorts or a high waisted skirt from Some Girls boutique!
