I SPY EYE

I SPY EYE
It’s only natural for girls to desire long eye lashes.  These days, women will go as far as even buying expensive eye lash enhancers in order to pull off this look.  We at Some Girls Boutique have found a quick, non-costly way to make you look like you have the eye lashes of a mascara model! Follow these quick and easy steps and in no time you’ll pull of this look!

Supplies Needed:  Set of lashes, lash glue, tweezers. Scissors (optional)
Local drugstore-- $4.99 for the lashes , $3.99 for the lash glue

STEPS:
1. Remove any eye makeup with a make-up remover solution to give you a clean slate to work on.
2. Gently peel the lashes off.  Use scissors to snip down to your desired size if/as needed from the inner corner eye of lashes.

3. Apply a thin layer of lash glue onto the base of the lashes, deciphering the left from right lash (there is a difference-- shorter lashes start from the corner or the eye to the flared part of lashes going outward of the eye).

4. Using tweezers if necessary, place the lashes as close as you can to your lash line. The tweezers also come in handy to push down and secure the lashes in place.

5. Keep your eyes shut and let them dry for about a minute.

6. Repeat these steps for the other eye
7. After both eyes are dried apply shadow, liner and mascara as desired.

SIDE NOTE:  I’ve found that if you don’t use mascara before you apply the lashes, or if you don’t use mascara at all, you will be able to re-use the lashes as they hold up nicer!

To take the lashes off, use make up remover and gently peel. You can place the lashes back on the plastic tray to hold shape and save for later use!

And remember, if you come into Some Girls Boutique and mention this blog, you automatically get 15% off of your next purchase!
